Alliance Education Fund is the Global Outreach Program of the Alliance of Faith & Feminism. Overcoming barriers Providing access to education Lifting girls, women and their communities out of poverty	In addition to our individual scholarships, the Alliance Education Fund is proud to be in ongoing partnership with the 70 girls of Mercy Home Orphanage in western Kenya.
Joyce is studying medical counseling at Lake Institute of Tropical Medicine along the coast of Lake Victoria.	Mary is the youngest of twelve children in her family. She is a secondary student in the high country of central Kenya.	Sarah is enrolled in the Bachelor of Education program at Kampala International University, Uganda.
Winnie is studying to become a CPA at the Vision Institute of Professionals, Nairobi.	Carolyne received a scholarship to clear her secondary school fees and receive her diploma.	Grace has just graduated from secondary school…the first member of her family to do so.
Ann is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Disaster Management and International Diplomacy at the Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology, Kenya.	Agnes was denied support from her family because they believed that educating a girl would be foolish. Her Alliance scholarship is allowing her to pursue a 2-year degree in Early Childhood Development.	Josephine and Agnetta’s family could not afford the fees and uniform requirements associated with primary school. An Alliance scholarship has kept them on the path toward higher education.
Grace’s scholarship allowed her to clear her secondary school fees and receive her diploma.	Leonidah grew up in an orphanage with few aspirations of ever achieving her educational goals. Today she is studying Business Management at Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology in Kakamega, Kenya.	These scholarship recipients want to thank everyone for their support in giving them a chance to have a good education and a bright future.
